Buyer’s Guide & FAQ
As a global leader in light aircraft sales, AEROCOR has learned a thing or two about the Premier fleet. We know how hard it is to find up to date information on the Premier and so we’ve created a one of a kind buyer’s guide to answer all of the most frequently asked questions that we get from prospective owners. It includes detailed technical comparisons, information on the purchase process, and describes what to expect when owning and operating your first turbine aircraft.
HISTORY AND GENERAL DESCRIPTION
First introduced in 2001, the Beechcraft Premier is a light business jet certified for single pilot operations. The Premier was originally marketed as an alternative to the popular Citation Jet (CJ) series of aircraft. Touted as the world’s fastest single pilot jet, the Premier also holds the distinction of boasting the largest cabin cross section of any single pilot jet. The Beechcraft Premier’s impressively space efficient fuselage is the result of its lightweight composite fuselage made from carbon graphite epoxy. Thinner than a conventional metal fuselage, the Premier’s composite fuselage not only reduces the overall weight of the aircraft, but it also allows for a significantly wider and taller cross section.
The Beechcraft Premier also boasts a very impressive ramp presence in comparison to other light business jets like the popular Citation 525 series of aircraft. The Premier I’s tall cabin sits up very high and is complemented by a true airstair entryway.
