Keep your RAS batteries in service by replacing their internal modules with commercially available parts.
This FAA-approved Supplemental Type Certificate lets an appropriately rated mechanic or repairman “reblock” your RAS batteries on the Eclipse EA500. The two internal 12 V battery modules are replaced in pairs with new commercial off-the-shelf batteries, so the whole battery doesn’t need to be replaced. Originally developed by RAS, the STC is now held and supported by AEROCOR, LLC.
